# Referral System

The APTree ecosystem includes a **referral mechanism** to promote community growth and active participation across the Aptos network.

## How It Works

All APTree users who own a **Seed** or have already **planted a Tree** will be eligible to generate and share a personal referral link. This link allows them to invite others into the APTree experience.

## 🎁 Referral Rewards

When someone joins APTree using your referral link and **plants their Seed**, you will be rewarded with:

* **1,000 Water Points**

These points can be used to **water your tree** and accelerate its growth through the stages from Dirt to Mythic Tree.

#### 🌱 Planting Rules for Referred Users

| User Type                               | Eligibility                 | Planting Cost         |
| --------------------------------------- | --------------------------- | --------------------- |
| **Referred User (New Wallet)**          | Can claim a free Seed       | **1 $APT** to plant   |
| **Petra Name Holders (Pre-launch)**     | Eligible for a Seed airdrop | **0.5 $APT** to plant |
| **ANS Holders (Old & New, Pre-launch)** | Seed airdropped             | **0.1 $APT** to plant |

*Note: All Seeds are non-transferrable and are burned during the planting process to initiate the NFT growth cycle.*
